Michael D. Rochelle is a more than 35-year veteran of the United States Army. Immediately upon retirement, he founded MDR Strategies, LLC and continues to lead that thriving executive and leadership coaching enterprise. Mike’s passion is working with outstanding leaders and executives who recognize their ability to enhance their individual leadership and organizational impacts even further. His work with leaders in corporate, higher education and public sectors has been heralded time and again. His coaching approaches are highly versatile and adaptive to individual client needs. Lieutenant General (USA, Retired) Mike Rochelle holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) Degree from Shippensburg University. He has extensive corporate governance experience, having served on the Board of Visitors of Norfolk State University (a gubernatorial appointment), the Military Officers Association of America, the Board of Governors of the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), and the Board of Directors of the National Capital Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), among others. He is a graduate of the Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance (LCOP) professional certificate program at George Mason University, the Conversations2Mastery (coaching) Course, the Newfield Network’s Foundations (coaching) Course, he holds the Certified Mentor Coach credential from Invite Change, and he is a George Mason University Coaching Fellow and coaching faculty member. Mike holds the International Coaching Federation’s Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential and received his team coaching training from Corentus of Boston, Massachusetts. 

Residing in Prince William County, Virginia with his beloved wife of many years; the mother of their three adult children and cherished grandmother of their four grandchildren, Mike works with coaching clients around the globe. He is a lifelong learner, and a devoted practitioner of the art and science of professional coaching.
